The Yellow Daylily is a perennial that has gorgeous yellow flowers in the summer months. This perennial likes the sunniest spot to grow and it like medium to wet soil. The Yellow Daylily can grow to be 5 feet tall and just over a foot wide. The daylily is one to fit that need. They get their name due to the fact that they generally tend to bloom during the day and then at night they will close themselves. The easiest way to take care of your lily is to make sure it is staked up since it tends to get so tall and then you can cut the bloom when you see it and bring it indoors to enjoy longer!
