NEW SHIPMENT OF STARTER AND INTERMEDIATE SIZED ORCHIDS IN FOR WINTER-SPRING TIME SALES!!! UP FOR AUCTION is one Cattleya, Dendrobium, Phalaenopsis, Vanda, or other Orchid either STARTER or INTERMEDIATE sized plant growing in 2-4" pot usually 3-7" tall with multiple leaves. The above Orchid main pic is a stock photo of the bloom, while there are other photos of various average Starter or Intermediate Orchids in stock...not all of the Orchids in stock are exactly like, but are similar to, the ones shown.....The bloom pic is of the following Orchid:

S-1471 Dtps. I-Hsin Sun Beauty 'KH6758#6'

We divide orchids into four age groups: Seedlings(right out of the flask to 6 months old), Starter Orchids (plugs 6 months to a year old), Intermediate Size Orchids(1-2+yrs old old beginning to look mature), Mature Size Orchids including Divisions of mature Orchids 2+yrs old with the ability to bloom at any time-usually at their next blooming season). Buying younger plants is a good way to increase your collection variety at lower costs. Plant will normally be removed from pot and wrapped in paper towels and plastic or left in pot with less soil for ease in shipping. When they get to you they may look shriveled and roots dried up, but please place them in a cup of water for 2-3 hours and then plant them in Orchid soil mix and water in….Cattleyas, Dendrobiums, Vandas, Phalaenopsis, and others in all their various forms bloom throughout the year, however, there are many varieties that bloom in our winter! Just remember, these are tropical, sunlight loving fragile plants, and they just spent an average of about 2-3 days in the dark! They have been heated and cooled repeatedly, bounced, thrown, dropped, and generally through some rough times. We say this because we want customers to know that though the plant may look rough, it is tough indeed! Please give them good clean water and they will be flowering in 1+ years or less!
Winter Care for Orchids in general:
Light: Provide all possible light to the plants to make up for short days and poor light quality; this will ensure proper ripening of growth and strong flower stems.
Temperature: Can safely drop into the low 50s Fahrenheit (10-12 degrees Celsius) at night, particularly when day temperatures are low. High 50s and low 60s fahrenheit are preferable for nighttime; if possible, day temperatures of low 70s Fahrenheit are ideal.
Water: Water with care during short, cool days; water early in day to allow foliage to dry.
Fertilizer: Low nitrogen to encourage maximum flower potential.
Watch for: Slow drying of mix; diseases caused by stale conditions.
Plants are shipped out on Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays, and sometimes on Saturdays...according to when the auction ends and payment received. Payment is due IMMEDIATELY at auction end thru PayPal. Therefore, late payment means slower shipping for you and plant possibly sold to secondary buyer, UNLESS YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH ME VIA EBAY EMAIL. I take great care in wrapping plants to assure they arrive safely, but sometimes the Post Office gets careless and damages the package. I only ship plants to lower 48 states, no international shipping, don't ask!
If there is any problem, WE HAVE A 14-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE-SIMPLY RETURN THE PLANT IN GOOD CONDITION AND WE REFUND YOUR MONEY…email me with questions or problems.
