VERNAL WITCHHAZEL- Hamamelis vernalis Edgy Hearts Hydrangea macrophylla DARK PINKISH-RED FLOWERS ACCENTED BY WHITE MARGINS Z 5b SPIREA 'Reeves' BRIDAL'S WREATH SPRING WHITE BLOOMING HARDY SHRUB Z=3-9

Vernal Witchhazel- Hamamelis vernalis Yellow blooms Zone 4

The Vernal Witchhazel gives you incredible, fluorescent yellow color during the winter… a time when all your neighbors’ landscapes are looking dull. This fantastic shrub looks great in borders, rows or near your garden. It begins to flower in late winter, when little else is blooming around your neighborhood. This colorful hedge typically grows 6-10 feet tall with a somewhat larger spread and produces clusters of fragrant, yellow blooms that have a reddish center. The leaves turn a lovely golden yellow in autumn. When colder days arrive, the petals will gracefully curl up to protect them from winter damage. Your Witchhazel performs well in both full sun and full shade. It is quite adaptable, preferring to grow in average to wet conditions, and will even tolerate some standing water. These witchhazels are very adaptable to a variety of soil types, and even tolerant of urban pollution. This hardy shrub does well in zones 4-8. It is a must-have for the four season landscape.

Plants will be sent bare root wet moss in plastic for ease in shipping and to save you money! In the fall through winter in extenuating circumstances our plants may arrive without leaves, attached or lose them soon after arrival depending on the amount of stress they are introduced to during shipping!! If this occurs please, plant as normal, new leaves will form within a week or two with proper sunlight and water.

Plants are shipped out on Mondays,Tuesdays,Wednesdays, and sometimes on Saturdays... I take great care in wrapping plants to assure they arrive safely, but sometimes the Post Office gets careless and damages the package. PINEAPPLE GUAVA-Feijoa sellowiana Blooming Fruiting Shrub Z 8-10

The Pineapple Guava is an easy to care for fruiting plant and is great for container growing.
This is a drought tolerant plant and is an evergreen shrub with soft green leaves and silvery undersides.
The flowers are sweet and edible and appear from about May through June. It has a kiwi-sized fruit with a waxy green skin and a soft succulent flesh similar to a pear in texture.
The green fruit develops a sweet fragrance even before it fully ripens in the fall.
"Pineapple Guava" tastes like a combination of pineapple and guava or pineapple and strawberry, often with overtones of winter green or spearmint.
Cut the fruit in half and scoop the pulp with a spoon for a delicious treat.
Plants need to be subjected to cool night temperatures from the 20's- 50's for successful flowering.
Fruiting starts 3-5 years after planting.
Self-fertile, but bears larger fruit, with cross-pollination.
Feijoa is remarkably pest-and disease-resistant. Also known as Acca sellowiana.

If there are any certificates, special regulations for your state,  or special shipping costs above and beyond what normally occurs in my regular shipping to the lower 48 states...buyer is responsible to tell me and pay any additional costs incurred...as an example I just shipped to Puerto Rico, though with no problem...I'm thinking, if I ship to Alaska, for instance, I would need to do that during the summer and add heat packs...again, up to the buyer to tell me what is necessary, as you have received shipments before and you know better what is needed!! Thanks, JT

ONCE THE PLANTS LEAVE MY POSSESSION I CAN NOT GUARANTEE BUDS DUE TO TOO MANY VARIABLES SUCH AS POST OFFICE HANDLING, HEAT, AND COLD.
